Another question we are often asked at Pilates Physique is whether you have to be a dancer or a serious athlete to do Pilates. The answer is absolutely not!

Pilates is a great way to build strength in your core muscles for better posture, balance and flexibility, no matter how fit or flexible you are. Pilates can be adapted to provide a gentle strength training and stability program or a challenging workout for seasoned athletes.

At Pilates Physique we have created Pilates classes that cover different types of Pilates exercises and Pilates equipment and cater for all levels of experience and fitness.

Let us introduce you to a few of our Pilates classes:

Pilates Reformer Class

Pilates Group Classes-Reformer

The Pilates Reformer provides finely tuned exercise resistance that allows you to work very precisely to develop good alignment, core strength and flexibility. It helps to tone your arms, legs, glutes and stomach.

We offer 3 levels of Reformer Classes at Pilate Physique so you can work your way from beginner (Reformer 1) to advanced (Reformer 3). We also offer a FREE trial introductory Reformer Class for those who are new to Pilates and want to try group classes for the first time. You can book a free trial reformer class today (new customers only).

 Pilates Mat Class

Magic Circle Class

A mat class will work your entire body, but most of the exercises have you either seated or lying on the floor. The beginning of the class should focus on engaging your deep abs in a neutral spine as well as with a rounded back.

Our Matwork Burn class offers a full body workout combining matwork with magic circles, rollers, thera-bands, free weights and/or free form boards. It offers our clients a strong abdominal, gluts and inner thigh workout which combines traditional matwork with resistance.

Private Pilates Classes

Pilates Roisin Barrel

Of course, if you want some serious one-on-one attention, a Private or Semi private Pilates class is the way to go. These classes are ideal for newcomers or for people with injuries or special needs such as pregnancy, lower back pain or weak stomach muscles.

So, whatever your flavour of Pilates or level of fitness, the experience and passion of our instructors will make sure you have the best possible Pilates workout at our Pilates Physique studio.
